All Hummers use a New Process Gear (NPG) 242 2sp TRANSFER CASE. It is a full time transfer case incorporating an open differential between the front and rear driveshafts (DS).
On Hummer H1 the front and rear differentials are the same. The PML cover fits both axles and works with standard undercarriage protection. It is designed to slide between the brake calipers. We: Check Fluid Level, Check for Leaks, and Replace Fluids. A job for the experts at Chevo’s!
